C4 Photo Safaris has always believed in leading from the front and so for our 2023 season we have arranged that Jonathan & Angela Scott will be joining us for this entire safari. You will be hosted by these legendary wildlife photographers and conservationist who have spent over 40 years documenting the ecosystem and its spectacular big cats.

ITINERARY
This safari will consist of an itinerary as such:

Day 1
Arrive in Kenya’s capital of Nairobi in the early afternoon. A 45-minute road transfer will take you to the African elegance of the Serena hotel. You will spend the evening in the lush and open surrounds of the Serena Hotel. One of Nairobi’s original hotels, this hotel has all the comforts of the past with the convenience of the modern era: The perfect place to relax for the evening. Our C4 photo safari guide will make contact with you at the hotel to arrange dinner for the photography group and discuss the logistics of the following morning.
Day 2 - 5
We depart for the Masai Mara at 10am on a scheduled flight and we touchdown at Ol Seki Airstrip after a short 1-hour flight. From there we are transferred by road to our base camp situated in the Naboisho Conservance adjacent to the Masai Mara National Reserve. The Mara Naboisho Conservancy in southwest Kenya is a dream for wildlife enthusiasts. As well as cheetahs, elephants and giraffes, the area has one of the highest concentrations of lions in the world.

Day 5 - 8
After breakfast we will transfer on a scenic game drive to Kicheche camp. Kicheche Mara Camp is a classic tented camp hidden in a beautiful valley in a prime wildlife area of the Mara North Conservancy. The luxury tents are laid out alongside a seasonal stream from where you can observe the resident birdlife and plains game beyond.
The camp is located in an Acacia Valley, a prime wildlife area, in this top-quality Conservancy, and game viewing frequently starts in the camp itself and there is prime wildlife habitat on all sides providing an ideal base for your safari in the Masai Mara.
Day 8
After a last morning game drive, we return to camp for a hearty brunch before departing to the airstrip at 12h00 where we return to Nairobi. A transfer back to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport/your hotel concludes the safari. Most of the international flights depart in the early evening and this fits with most connections. This is unfortunately the end of the tour and another special package from C4 Photo Safaris.
