Mashatu 2026

Travelling into Botswana is always exciting, it’s such a vast country that you come home with a massively diverse portfolio after one safari, but you cannot do everything in one safari. The vast expanse of galaxy and silence in Lekhubu makes you feel the size of a grain of sand and yet so close to nature that is very difficult to explain through a photograph. Mashatu on the other hand was a very productive week of predators, as we all know Mashatu, but the exceptionally emotional moments spent with the Motswiri female Leopard and her cub was not something that come across your camera very often. It was heart-stopping moments of a cheetah-kill to the childhood joy of watching Hyenas enjoy a pool party at 3am in Lala Limpopo. This trip was a very diverse portfolio addition, for sure.
