This was a fantastic trip enhanced by exceedingly good guides in Humphrey Gumpo, Reuben (at Chickwenya) and Chris (Muzimi). Mana Pools and Gorongosa are like no other places we've been to and the entire experience was magical.

Well planned trip working with C4 staff pre trip. C4 was also very helpful when one aspect of our trip did not work out in allowing us to change to another option. C4 photo staff at lodge is very good and helpful as well. Everything ran smoothly during our ten day stay. It was our fourth trip to this lodge and with the use of the C4/Mashatu photo vehicle and support. It was our 12th trip to Africa.

C4 Photo Safaris came through again, resulting in a superb safari adventure for all 9 members of the group. From the camps and lodge that were recommended in Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru to the 3 drivers/guides who were superb and knew how to handle the photographers’ requirements, providing the necessary photography assistance during the game drives and regular image reviews with the group. Overall, it was a superb safari for everyone.

C4 have been fantastic in helping me with the logistics and pricing of my Mashatu photographic safaris, particularly as someone relatively new to the photography guiding industry. They helped me understand the costing side of things, arranged everything seamlessly, and were always on hand to answer questions and provide support throughout the process.

The locations and guides were exceptional, and travelling in a small group made the experience even more enjoyable. Meeting the remote tribes of Ethiopia, especially the welcoming Mursi people, was a real highlight. It was an unforgettable journey, and I've already booked our next C4 safaris.

C4 were awesome to travel with and fantastic as a photography safari. Darren Donovan was very patient with me, and my camera operations, and taught me so much about my camera, making pictures not just taking photos, and helped me a lot with editing. The camp we stayed at was amazing, friendly, very comfortable and had very yummy food. I never once went hungry or felt unsafe throughout this whole process. We saw some amazing sights and loads of animals.

We've travelled extensively with C4 in Africa, and the experience has always been first rate. This was our first trip into Brazil and the Pantanal with C4, and the experience was every bit as good as it has been in Africa. As always, C4 arranged everything to perfection. The accommodations and food more than met our expectations. The Panatanal more than lived up to its reputation as a wildlife photography hot-spot. Jaguars, capybaras, tapirs, coatis, giant river otters and an immense host of birds, meant there was never a dull moment when out on drives. C4 booked an excellent local guide (Rafael) and driver (Alan), that knew how to find animals and how to position the boats to make sure we had excellent angles for photographing wildlife. We also had the great pleasure of traveling with Isak Pretoius as our C4 guide who was happy to share different perspectives on image composition that broadened our horizons. Isak was also more than generous with his time between drives, sharing ideas and approaches to image post-processing that will enhance what we do with the pictures we take. All-in-all, a trip that was evey bit as enjoyable as all the other trips we've done with C4

I have been on two C4 safaris. Both have been the best photo safaris ever, and I have been to four with other organizers. They are organized, have great photographer guides, and they go to the best places for photographic opportunities. I plan to use C4 for my future safaris. They go to many fantastic places ,and I trust them to deliver a great experience.

Really enjoyed our trip with C4 Photo Safaris guided by Darren Donovan. Busanga Plains is a wonderful destination offering unique photographic opportunities. Darren was a wonderful guide, always having our interests at heart and providing advice when required. Would definitely travel with C4 Photo Safaris and Darren again.
