I have been on two C4 safaris. Both have been the best photo safaris ever, and I have been to four with other organizers. They are organized, have great photographer guides, and they go to the best places for photographic opportunities. I plan to use C4 for my future safaris. They go to many fantastic places ,and I trust them to deliver a great experience.

Really enjoyed our trip with C4 Photo Safaris guided by Darren Donovan. Busanga Plains is a wonderful destination offering unique photographic opportunities. Darren was a wonderful guide, always having our interests at heart and providing advice when required. Would definitely travel with C4 Photo Safaris and Darren again.

My recent safari with C4 Photo Safaris was wonderful. The whole experience from my initial enquiry right through to the safari itself was excellent. It more than met my expectations. Everyone was very kind and helpful with my mobility issues. I learned so much from Isak, his natural ability to explain photography and technical techniques has allowed me to develop as a photographer. I have no hesitation in recommending C4 Photo Safaris and hopefully will be booking with them in the future.

Just got back from the most incredible trip to Ethiopia and Botswana put together by C4 Photo safaris. Every detail was perfectly planned by Angelica, Shem and their staff. The Ethiopian portion was curated and led by Shem and Graeme and we truly couldn't ask for better hosts and guides. I have some mobility issues and always sure I had a hand to grab on to for support. A major highlight was being fortunate enough to photograph two fabulous ceremonies: the painting ceremony with the Karo Tribe and the coming -of-age ceremony with the Dassanach Tribe. Also connecting with the Mursi Tribe was equally unforgettable. Next up we went to Mashatu Private Game Reserve to continue our safari adventure. We loved the gorgeous accommodations and top-tiered hospitality. Capturing wildlife in such a breathtaking location was an absolute dream and the expertise of the guides was extraordinary. A massive highlight was spending 2 nights in an underground hide, where the animals come to drink out of the waterhole. I plan to travel with C4 again in the future for sure.

I loved the contrast between Kasonso and Chiawa camps in Zambia, and both were comfortable with great food, great service and incredible animal sightings. Transfers were efficient and done by friendly people. And travelling with a professional photographer makes a huge difference to the quality of the photos you return home with.

C4 organised an amazing trip for us. With 4 different locations we were able to experience 4 different environments. Logistically it could have been difficult but Angelica and the C4 team made it an incredibly easy. Every attempt was made to find game and we experienced a huge variety of animals . All up C4 helped to make this a most enjoyable experience.

Beyond expectations. Fabulous sightings, experienced very knowledgeable guides and spotters. Extremely comfortable lodges and food was excellent. Overnight hide was breathtaking.

When I first approached C4, I wanted something slightly different than the currently advertised trip, essentially a couple more nights at the tented camp, a more rustic alternative, but I wanted a more Africa experience away from the more popular lodges. The process could not have been more smooth. I was kept informed at ever step and always knew what was going on. If I had questions, they were responded to so quickly, I'm surprised Angelica doesn't get whip lash. On arrival, we were met off the plane by a representative who guided us through immigration and baggage collection, and he then took us to our hotel. A nice hotel at the airport that was remarkably good value. The next morning we were met by our photo guide, Danielle Carsten. From this point we were in her hands, taking the small plane into Mashatu. Everything just ran like clockwork. Mashatu - I have travelled Africa quite extensively, and this game reserve is beyond comparison. Its unique flora and fauna is just magic. The leopard sightings were amazing. The accommodation was first class and everyone from the cleaners, cooks, managers and guides were beyond compare. Plus the Lala Limpopo overnight hide is just off the scale. The guides - We were lucky to have Richard as our guide driver for the whole trip. His knowledge, and his ability to track and find animals was phenomenal- I have no idea how he does what he does, or sees what he sees. He is also a really nice guy, friendly and he couldn't do enough for us. Photo Guide - Danielle Carstens - What can I say. She was top draw, funny engaging and extremely knowledgeable of both the animal behaviour and ways to achieve the best photographic outcomes. She was alway on hand providing tips and guiding us to make correct choices. I have only recently come back to photography but this trip has given me the confidence and knowledge to make better images. Would I travel with Danielle again - without a doubt. There cannot be a better recommendation than that. C4 - absolutely amazing. Would I use C4 again - without doubt. Another plus is their YouTube presence - some of the best instructive photographic videos on the internet.

We had the most AMAZING time with C4 safaris on a combined Zimanga & Mashatu safari. The two reserves complimented each other well and not only were the sightings great but the photographer guide (Aubrey Tseleng) was excellent as were the reserve guides, trackers and staff . The care, enthusiasm and support from the company was excellent and it was great to meet Janet, manager of C4, at Mashatu. The whole trip was joyful and we loved every minute. Would happily have stayed longer in both!
