Jay Collier is a renowned photographic educator and tour leader from Melbourne, Australia.

He has a long-standing career in the Australian photographic industry having worked with some of the industrie's biggest brands including 14 years at Canon Australia. He was the Victorian Consumer Experience Manager for Canon Collective was being responsible for producing and hosting thousands of workshops across Australia and internationally. He was also the manager for Canon Professional Service (CPS)

Jay previously held positions managing Nikon Professional Services (NPS) along with working in sales for both Olympus and Kodak earlier in his career. This has led to his diverse knowledge of all forms of photography as well as the ability to teach at all levels, from beginners to advanced professionals. Jay is equally skilled in the studio as he is on location, using both studio lighting and available light to capture timeless images for his clients and his guests on workshops.

After leaving Canon Australia in August 2020, he launched his own photographic touring company, www.the photographyworkshopco.com, along with an aerial photography tour business specializing in Lake Eyre in the South Australian Outback www.lakeeyrefromtheair.com, to deliver the best photographic workshops and experiences available drawing from his many years of experience.

Jay is best known for his work guiding premium African photographic safaris over the past 16 years, working in partnership with Iconic Images International as well as the team from C4 Photo Safaris in South Africa.
