  • Recommended for: Photographers of all levels who want an immersive Mashatu experience with consistent predator and elephant encounters, plus dedicated time in world-class photographic hides. Ideal for guests who want to strengthen field craft, composition, and behaviour-based storytelling in a big, open wilderness setting.
  • Fitness level: Low to Average – You will be required to climb on and off a safari vehicle and access photographic hides. The terrain is unpaved and can be bumpy and dusty, and the sleep-out hide experience requires comfort with an overnight stay in a hide environment.

  • The C4 Experience: This itinerary has been carefully structured to maximise photographic opportunity in Mashatu’s diverse habitats, combining private vehicle time with exclusive sessions at the underground Matebole Hide and the Lala Limpopo Sleep-Out Hide.
