Important Travel Update for C4 Guests
Date 2026/03/06 11:16:57 by Shem Compion
Recent global events have understandably raised concerns for travellers planning journeys in the months ahead. We would like to reassure our guests that safaris in Africa remain safe and currently unaffected.
While travel into Africa through certain Middle Eastern travel hubs has been severely affected, there are fortunately many alternative travel routes that can still be safely used to reach the continent.
For guests travelling with C4 Photo Safaris, our team is closely monitoring the situation and assisting travellers where needed.
Flexibility from Lodges
Should your safari booking be affected by recent events, most lodges are currently favouring postponement of bookings to a later date, often keeping rates consistent. This is similar to the approach many lodges took during the Covid period, helping guests preserve their safari experience for a future date.
Please note that logistics such as flights and transfers will need to be re-quoted for new travel dates, as availability and pricing may change.
Travel Insurance Considerations
It is important for travellers to be aware that most travel insurance policies exclude coverage for “Acts of War.”
C4 will continue to adhere to the cancellation policies of our lodges and suppliers as the benchmark for managing any changes to bookings.
Supporting Our Guests
Rest assured that we are here to assist you with any changes to your safari booking.
If your travel plans are affected, we will do our utmost to facilitate the postponement of your booking and help you find the best possible solution by offering suitable alternatives into the future.
Africa remains a place of extraordinary wildlife, landscapes, and photographic opportunity. For many travellers, postponement simply means that the journey will take place a little later than planned.
If you have any concerns regarding your upcoming safari, please feel free to contact our team for guidance.
